Before uploading the thesis file, make sure the margins are set as required.

It is not recommended to generate PDF files from the print window. The best effects will be achieved by using the functionality built into the text editor.

The PDF file with the thesis should not contain text in the form of images, because the anti-plagiarism system will return an error and it will be necessary to re-upload the correct thesis file

After sending the file with the thesis and approval by the promoter, a version with control numbers should be downloaded from the Diploma Theses Archive System (APD) for printing.

LibreOffice

1. From the File Menu select Export as -> Export as PDF.
2. In the General tab, under Images, adjust the compression options if necessary.
3. Click on the Export button.

Microsoft Word

1. Click File, select Export and Create PDF/XPS. Older versions of the software may require a special plug-in to be installed for this functionality to be available.
2. On the Save as type list select PDF.
3. You can use the Optimize for: option to reduce the file size if it turns out to be too large.
4. Click the Publish button.
